Forbes and I were married December 12, 1946. We were married in Virginia, then drove to California, lived with Enid for a while then moved to an apartment in Beverly Hills, CA, where we lived for several years. 

 When I got pregnant in 1951 we moved to the valley, North Hollywood and rented a home next to a vacant lot where Forbes built a home. It took about 2 1/2 years but we moved in free and clear. 

Barbara Jean was born February 5, 1952 and Jim, November 30, 1952. We lived in the home Forbes built until our children finished high school and left home. We then moved to one of our rentals we had bought earlier. 

During these times Forbes was doing iron work and soon moved up to the position of Field Superintendent of the steel company. 

Forbes retired in 1970. We traveled some and enjoyed his retirement. 

In December 1995 we moved here to Mission Viejo, CA, close to our daughter. Forbes passed away April 28, 1997.
