did not survive childhood. Since they left in 1883? This child is
most likely theirs. |

May Exter around 1908
|
Born Nov 1889 in Kelly, New Mexico. We
have some pictures.
Married: Hezekiah Hall, Water Canyon,
outside of Magdalena, NM.
Water Canyon is the place of the
"Old
Hall Ranch" bought by Hezekiah Hall and left to their children Alice
(Hall) Scott and Nathan Hall. Alice says the tradition had been
to alternate Nathan and Hezekiah as the boys names--Hezekiah (Hez for short)
was Alice's father, married to May; his son was Nathan. Nathan
married another lady named May, but she chickened out on naming Robert
Nathan, her son, as Hezekiah. Alice moved to the little town of Reserve
NM, and until 1996 owned and operated the general store. |
